Amsterdam Light Festival

The Amsterdam Light Festival is happening right now! If you happen to be anywhere near Amsterdam, I recommend touring around the city for a bit. You don’t need to buy tickets for paid tours necessarily, you could also go by bicycle like I did. The festival started on November 27 and will end January 18.

On Monday evening, I decided to finally go and see some of the light installations around the city. It was very very windy and rainy, but still fun. By the way, I’m not being a sissy about the winds, they even “cancelled” some of the artworks today because of “extreme winds”. Try to keep an eye on the weather forcasts if you plan to go soon!

I didn’t manage to take photos of every artwork in the festival, but I took too many to cram them all into one blog post. That’s no disaster, it just means I have a lot more pretty photos to show you. So stay tuned for Part II. It will be posted very soon!

P.S. Happy Holidays to all of you!
